Jenny Schneider

Team assistent

How did you come to join us?

I’ve been working as a team assistant at Müller-BBM for six years now. Before that, I completed training as a foreign language correspondent, followed by a degree at the Language and Interpreting Institute in Munich, where I qualified as a state-certified translator. But I wanted a more versatile job and to work with people. That’s how I ended up as a team assistant at Müller-BBM, where I work closely with engineers and other team assistants.

“Müller-BBM is very diverse for me. I have the opportunity to contribute to projects and support my colleagues during measurements.”

What exactly do you do at MBBM?

One of my tasks as a team assistant is preparing documents such as proposals or reports for further processing by the engineers. Once they’ve finished, the documents come back to me, and I format them for our clients. If needed, I also translate them into English, since our clients are international. When communicating with clients by phone or email, I always keep an eye on my colleagues’ schedules so I can assist as needed.

My responsibilities also include supporting my colleagues with travel arrangements when they go on measurement assignments—sometimes even abroad. This includes booking flights, hotel reservations, rental cars, and more.

Describe MBBM in three words.

For me, Müller-BBM is very versatile. For example, I have the opportunity to contribute to projects and support my colleagues during measurements by taking notes on results. That makes my work very interesting and exciting.
