Functional checks and calibrations
Inspection of operational measuring equipment as a basis for accurate measurements
Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH is an accredited and recognized testing body, among other things for verifying the proper installation, functionality, and calibration of continuously operating measuring instruments. These inspections are carried out within the scope of various regulatory frameworks, including the Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA Luft) and the Federal Immission Control Ordinances (BImSchV). Operators of facilities subject to these regulations must continuously measure and record emissions of individual substances or substance groups using approved analyzers. We support you in the compliant setup of such devices and regularly perform functional tests (AST) and calibrations (QAL2) at defined intervals.

We perform functional tests (AST) and calibrations (QAL2) on systems such as combustion plants, surface treatment facilities, waste incineration plants, cremation systems, and installations subject to the VOC directive for limiting emissions of volatile organic compounds.
Your Benefits:
- Compliance: Regular inspection and calibration of measuring instruments ensure that your facility meets all relevant requirements. This minimizes the risk of legal consequences and ensures smooth operation.
- Operational Efficiency Optimization: Routine calibration and functional testing of measuring devices provide reliable data that help understand operational processes within the facility. This often enables optimization, control, and reduction of emissions—contributing to increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Long-Term Reliability: Regular calibration ensures the reliability of measurements and enables continuous monitoring of the emission profile of the production process. This allows early detection of changes and disturbances, helping to prevent unplanned downtime.
