Measuring sulphur dioxide SO₂ (UV fluorescence), DIN E 14212

This European Standard specifies a continuous ultraviolet fluorescence measurement method for determining the concentration of sulphur dioxide in air. It specifies the performance criteria and sets out the minimum requirements for the suitability testing of ultraviolet fluorescence measuring instruments. It also covers the assessment of a measuring instrument’s suitability for use at a specific fixed measuring site with regard to the data quality requirements set out in Annex I to Directive 2008/50/EC and with regard to the requirements for sampling, calibration and quality assurance.
