Railway acoustics

A branch of acoustics focusing on noise generation in railway vehicles and infrastructure. This includes, among other things, noise generation in rail vehicles (rail vehicle acoustics) as well as the influence of railway infrastructure on the generation of noise and vibration and their transmission to local residents.
