Sound intensity probe

Specialised measurement technology. The two-microphone technique makes it possible to determine the sound intensity of a noise source. Among other things, this enables the sound power of a noise source to be determined with great precision, even in environments affected by background noise (e.g. industrial plants with a large number of surrounding noise sources). Thanks to its good directional characteristics, it is also possible, among other things, to carry out measurements close to a noise source and thus, for example, to draw up targeted proposals for appropriate noise reduction measures.
