Structure-borne noise measurements

Vibration measurements on structures, often in the audible frequency range, with the aim of being able to derive the structure’s airborne noise emission. Frequently used when determining sound power in environments with high levels of background noise. By taking measurements close to the source of the noise, this measurement method also makes it possible to propose targeted noise reduction measures for specific noise sources.
