Structure-borne sound insulating pipe supports

Pipe supports can transmit structure-borne sound from the pipework to the supporting steel structure. This structure-borne sound is then radiated by the supporting structures as airborne sound and represents a significant, difficult-to-control secondary transmission path, particularly in the case of pipework with highly sound-insulating cladding.
