TRGS 700 Series

The Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS) Series 700 deal with protective measures against fire and explosion hazards posed by hazardous substances. They set out in detail the requirements of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV) regarding the safe handling of flammable substances and mixtures in the workplace. Provided the measures set out in the TRGS 700 series are complied with, the so-called ‘state of the art’ is considered to have been implemented.
