Water as an object of protection

Water as an object of protection includes surface waters (rivers, lakes, springs) and groundwater. In addition, drinking water and mineral spring protection areas, as well as floodplains, areas at risk of flooding and flood-prone areas, are also classified as part of water as a resource to be protected.
