From 25-27 September 2024, Eva Siebenlist (Berlin branch), Erik Petersen and Dr. Johannes Sander (both Planegg headquarters) spent three days at the Extreme Weather Congress and the Climate Management Conference in Hamburg, where they were part of the stakeholder community that is giving intensive thought to strategic adaptation to climate change. Together with climate managers, crisis managers, meteorologists and entrepreneurs, they shared their expertise and presented the services of Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH at our company booth.

The congress was attended by top-class speakers and the effects of climate change were examined from all angles in numerous specialist presentations.

Recognizing and measuring the risks of anthropogenic climate change, projecting them into the future using far-reaching forecasts and deriving action guidelines from them is part of the preparations that companies should already be making today. The Climate Adaptation Act (KAnG), which came into force on July 1, 2024, sets out clear requirements for action for federal states, municipalities and districts.
