The World Day for Safety and Health at Work on 28th April serves as a global reminder of the importance of safe working conditions and the health of employees. For us, this day is far more than a symbolic occasion: the safety and health of our employees are at the heart of our activities every day.
Our employees are our company’s most important resource. That is why we have a clear goal: we want our employees to remain healthy, productive, and motivated over the long term. This commitment is consistently reflected in our structures, processes, and programs.
As part of our certified occupational health and safety management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 45001, we deliberately go far beyond legal requirements. Regular training sessions, state-of-the-art personal protective equipment (PPE), and high-quality, cutting-edge work equipment are a natural part of our operations. We believe that occupational safety is not merely an obligation, but a responsibility we actively embrace.
In addition, we make targeted investments in comprehensive workplace healthcare initiatives. Our employees benefit from, among other things:
- EGYM Wellpass
- WorkLifePortal (WLP)
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Job Bike
- and many other healthcare initiatives
The fact that we are on the right track with this holistic approach is confirmed not only by the positive feedback from our staff. A look at the Techniker Krankenkasse’s latest Absenteeism Report 2025 also speaks for itself:
When benchmarked against comparable industries, we perform significantly better – whether in terms of the sick leave rate, the number of sick days, or the duration of sick leave.
The analyzed data is entirely valid. Our company-specific results were compared with nationwide key figures for the reference industry “Architectural and engineering services; technical, physical, and chemical testing”. These comparative figures are based on TK data for 249,251 employees in 2025.
For us, these results are both a confirmation and an incentive: they show that ongoing investments in safety, health, and prevention pay off – and motivate us to pursue this path with determination.
Because one thing is clear: only healthy and safe work is good work.
