In the "Reinhören 2024" workshop on 5^th/6^th July, students were able to gain an insight into the world of consulting engineers. The tasks and challenges of our consulting activities were presented on the basis of current projects. The varied programme from the specialist areas of industrial, railway and ship acoustics as well as traffic and plant noise was presented through lectures and exercises by our colleagues Max Haberl, Lilien Fröhlich und Andreas Lackner, among others. Of course, this also included a joint dinner and public viewing in the Munich city centre. We are already looking forward to next year’s workshop, when we will be able to discuss various issues from our day-to-day work with the participants.
