Müller-BBM Industry Solutions has just completed four intensive and successful days at the SMM 2026 trade fair in Hamburg. As exhibitors, our experts took the opportunity to hold numerous technical discussions on current challenges and developments in the maritime industry.
The focus was particularly on topics relating to ship and offshore acoustics, as well as noise and vibration control on board. Our colleagues Vincent Wasserfuhr, Dr. Andreas Müller and Thierry Maquil discussed current projects, technical developments and future requirements within the industry with customers, partners and prospective clients.
SMM has once again demonstrated just how dynamically the maritime industry is developing. The focus was on a wide range of forward-looking topics, from alternative and low-emission propulsion technologies, through digitalisation and automation, to issues of comfort, sustainability and on-board acoustics.
