On October 23 and 24, 2026, Müller-BBM Industry Solutions in Planegg once again opened its doors for the “Reinhören” workshop. For the tenth time, the two-day event offered students and doctoral candidates the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into acoustic consulting and the profession of an acoustic engineer.
The program combined technical insights with plenty of hands-on experience: From structural dynamics and vibration control to ship, rail, and vehicle acoustics, as well as traffic, commercial, and sports noise and industrial acoustics, participants gained insights into various fields of work. Case studies, a hands-on measurement exercise, and a group discussion of the results clearly demonstrated how acoustic challenges are transformed into concrete solutions. A guided tour of the facility rounded out the program.
There was also plenty of opportunity for personal interaction. During the evening social event in Munich, participants had the chance to get to know the speakers and fellow attendees better outside the context of the workshop program.
