Air quality assessment

In an air quality assessment the emissions and immissions of air pollutants and odours associated with a project (e.g. the approval of a plant, the adoption of a local development plan, or the planning approval of a road) are determined and evaluated. In this context, a stack height determination and/or a propagation calculation may be carried out. The air quality assessment often plays a key role in the approval or authorisation of a project.
