Anechoic chamber

An anechoic chamber is a special acoustic laboratory room in which the walls, floor and ceiling are designed in such a way that virtually no sound reflections occur. It is also known as an echo-free chamber. Due to the specific characteristics of the sound field within such a room, various acoustic investigations and certain sound recordings can be carried out or significantly simplified.
