Crematorium

A crematorium – also known as a ‘Feuerhalle’ in Austria – is a place of burial where the deceased are laid to rest not by burial but by cremation. This process is known as cremation; the term ‘incineration’ is also commonly used. A funeral that includes cremation is referred to as a cremation funeral.
