Emergency and hazard prevention plan

An internal alarm and hazard prevention plan must be drawn up for upper-class operating areas in accordance with Section 10 of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance (StörfallV). It essentially contains information on the measures that the operator must take to deal with potential hazards arising from the respective operating area. The information that must be included in an internal alarm and emergency response plan is specified in Annex IV of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance. For the preparation of external alarm and emergency response plans, the operator must provide the competent authority with the necessary information in accordance with Section 10 of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance.
