EU Directive 2008/50/EC

EU Directive 2008/50/EC regulates air quality and clean air in Europe. It sets limit values for various pollutants, including nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), sulphur dioxide, benzene, carbon monoxide and lead. The aim of the Directive is to protect human health and the environment by keeping the air as clean as possible.
