Explosion protection document

The explosion protection document pursuant to Section 6(9) of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance is a formal and legally required document that details the measures and assessments set out in the explosion prevention plan. Among other things, it contains the results of the risk assessment, a description of the explosion risks, the protective measures taken, the zone classification of potentially explosive atmospheres, and the responsibilities. The document serves as evidence, for example to the authorities, and must be updated regularly to reflect the current state of the art and operational conditions.
