Fire safety certificate

The fire safety certificate proves that the fire safety requirements under building codes have been met. The guidelines for preparing the certificate and the group of individuals authorized to prepare it vary by state and generally depend on the building code classification of the building in question. The fire safety certificate is relevant for the building permit process as a technical building certificate.
