Gefahrstoffeinstufung

Process by which chemical substances or mixtures are assessed for their hazardous properties and assigned to hazard classes and categories, with the aim of protecting human health and the environment. In the European Union, this is carried out in accordance with the CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging).
