Measuring anions and cations (deposition), VDI 4320 Sheet 3

This guideline describes the specific requirements for procedures for determining bulk deposition and wet deposition of water-soluble anions and cations. The application of the guideline enables the determination of the deposition of water-soluble anions (e.g. chloride, nitrite, nitrate and sulphate) and water-soluble cations (e.g. ammonium, sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium). Depending on the task at hand, other water-soluble ions can also be determined.
