Measuring dust deposition (Bergerhoff), VDI 4320, Sheet 2

This guideline describes a standardised procedure for determining dust deposition using the Bergerhoff method. Dust deposition, as defined in this guideline, is a mass flow density, i.e. mass per unit area and time. It is calculated from the mass of the dry residue of the collected particulate matter, the exposure duration and the opening area of the pot collector.
