Narrow-band spectrum

A narrowband spectrum is a detailed representation of a signal in the frequency domain, obtained through a Fourier analysis (e.g. using FFT). In this process, the signal is broken down into many individual, narrow frequency intervals (‘bins’), and the corresponding amplitude or power is displayed for each frequency.
