Odour unit (European)

The quantity of an odourant or several odourants which, when vaporised into one cubic metre of neutral air under standard conditions, elicits the same physiological response from a group of test subjects (perception threshold) as the response elicited by a European Reference Odour Mass (EROM) after vaporisation into one cubic metre of neutral air under standard conditions (based on DIN EN 13725).
