Technical Rules relating to the Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance on Noise and Vibration

These rules set out in detail the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance on Noise and Vibration and reflect the state of the art in occupational medicine and occupational hygiene, as well as further findings from ergonomics, regarding the protection of workers from the hazards posed by noise. In addition to a general section, the rules consist of three further sections:

Section 1: Assessment of noise-related hazards, 
Section 2: Noise measurements, and 
Section 3: Noise control measures. 

By complying with the Technical Rules, an employer may assume that the relevant requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance on Noise and Vibration are met.
