Valve noise

Noises generated when gases, vapours and liquids flow through control valves. Valve noise is mainly radiated via the connected pipework system. Owing to the large number of control valves in industrial plants and the sometimes high sound levels they generate, control valves are among the most significant noise sources and require careful acoustic planning.
