In-situ measurements on noise barriers – Müller-BBM is ready

In-situ measurement on a noise barrier.

The Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) has responded to criticism from the Federal Court of Auditors with Circular No. 07/2025: Laboratory tests alone are not sufficient to assess the actual acoustic performance of newly constructed noise barriers. In-situ measurements directly on site are now required—both for acceptance and before the end of the warranty period.

Our colleagues are qualified to carry out these measurements. We follow the Adrienne method in accordance with DIN EN 1793-5 and DIN EN 1793-6, as well as the Austrian test manual for acoustic acceptance testing. Measurement points are defined in coordination with the client and permanently marked.
