Cut-off criterion

Value below which a substance input (e.g. nitrogen, acidifying substances, air pollutant concentrations, heavy metals) is so low that, according to current scientific knowledge, it can no longer be attributed to a specific cause or project. If the values fall below the cut-off criteria, a significant impact can be ruled out.
