Detailed acoustic planning

In a detailed acoustic planning, the design of a complex plant (e.g. an outdoor installation with a large number of noise sources) is examined and assessed from an acoustic perspective (including with regard to compliance with the requirements in the vicinity of the installation and/or with regard to acoustic guidelines for workplace noise). By incorporating acoustic expertise at an early stage, any necessary noise reduction measures can be implemented in good time. At a later stage of planning, or indeed after a facility has been built, it is often costly or no longer possible to achieve effective noise reduction.
