Door signals

The entrance doors of passenger trains must comply with the acoustic requirements set out in the TSI-PRM for mainline rolling stock. The signal frequencies, signal durations and sound pressure levels to be observed are specified. Measurement-based verification of these requirements is carried out in accordance with DIN EN 17285. However, DIN EN 14752 also proposes a procedure.
