Expertise in workplace noise measurements

If noise measurements are required, the employer must ensure that such measurements are carried out by competent persons and in accordance with the state of the art. Competent persons within the meaning of Section 5 of the Noise and Vibration Occupational Safety Regulation (LärmVibrationsArbSchV) are defined as individuals who possess sufficient experience and knowledge of the relevant regulations governing the measurement of noise at the workplace.
