Noise reduction concept

An efficient noise reduction concept can be developed based on a detailed acoustic analysis or detailed planning. In addition to technically feasible noise reduction measures for new and existing equipment, as many other aspects relevant to the assessment as possible should be taken into account and weighed against one another (e.g., the contribution of the sound power levels of individual pieces of equipment to the sound power level of the entire facility, the impact of individual mitigation measures on reducing the assessment level at the point-of-interest, financial and safety-related concerns).
