Odour plume measurement

A method for determining the extent of the exhaust air plume from an odour emission source by determining the presence or absence of detectable odours at the edge of the plume for a specific emission scenario under specific meteorological conditions. The main application of plume measurements is to estimate the strength of the source by means of back-calculation using dispersion modelling. Plume measurements are carried out in accordance with DIN EN 16841-2.
