Pollutant analysis

In common usage, the term ‘pollutants’ refers to substances or mixtures of substances in the environment that may be harmful to humans, animals, plants, other organisms or entire ecosystems. The harm may result either from organisms taking up these substances or from their introduction into an ecosystem or its biomass.
