VC curves

Classification of low-vibration installation sites for sensitive equipment. VC-0 lies approximately within the perceptibility threshold range. From VC-A onwards, the permissible amplitudes are halved for each letter. From VC-C onwards, the requirements on ceiling slabs can only be met with considerable effort. Floor slabs often fall within a range that meets VC-D or better. From VC-F onwards and in accordance with VDI 2038-2, the curves serve to characterise the conditions and are no longer suitable for design purposes.
