Vibration-sensitive equipment

Vibration-sensitive equipment reacts even to very slight vibrations or structural vibrations well below the human threshold of perception. This includes, among other things, lithography systems, metrology systems, electron microscopes, inspection systems and precision positioning systems. Permissible vibrations are often defined by manufacturer-specific requirements or so-called Vibration Criteria (VC) curves.
